Fong Fong: Over A Year Waiting

After more than a year of complaining, I finally give in and did a photo shoot for my girlfriend. Why didn’t I do it earlier? I’ve always had the phobia of shooting my own girlfriend because of the horror stories told by friends and other photographers, how they argued during the session and sometimes pack and leave angrily. Luckily that is not the case for me. Phew~

Hansen Lee

A profile and website shoot for Hansen Lee.

Hansen already has a lot of title under his belt such as Cleo’s 50 most eligible bachelor, Hottest Hunk, NTV7 Breakfast Show Host, FlyFM Flydol’s champion and host/actor for singapore Channel 5.

You can check out his 5 minute interview with MSN on his workout as he works not only as an actor, model but also a personal trainer.

I personally feel that he has the charisma to become a great host and actor in the future. Good luck Hansen.

Techniques: For this photoshoot I did it very simple, just 3 studio strobes. 1 on the neutral color background at F6. 1/125, ISO100 and stobe on the model, left and right at F8, 1/125, ISO100.

Belle Theng Mei Yee

I have the opportunity to shoot one of the fast upcoming celebrity and actress, Belle Theng. Last year she won a pageant cum talent contest organized by one of the largest television network in Malaysia. It was great working with her as she is easy going, casual and fun.

Thanks again to Kenny Yee for the fantastic make up. Hope you guys like the photo.

This is another one from my old set. Sorry about the slow update on my blog. I’m kinda caught up with a lot of work lately.

Katrina is one of the more challenging model to shoot. Mainly because she is a tad fleshier than the rest of the girls.

Sweyi – Shadow and Highlights

Shadow and highlight is one a very important aspect in photography. It can turn the most normal photo into a beautiful one.

The photos here stresses on the shadow and highlighted areas on her feature and clothing.

Some of the winkles are ‘CREATED’ on purpose so that the lines are showing clearly and well defined.

Attention to detail is one of the greatest skill in photography.

Daniel Tan – Look into my eyes

Sharon Chew

Sharon is a cool girl. One of the first few that I shot. She has attractive asian phoenix eyes and very good figure.
The last photo we were experimenting with colors and textures on the model. We stick meshed green paper all over the model so that we can play around with the tone. It did not come out perfectly as I picture it, but I guess it is acceptable.

My Fantasy

A series of portrait inspired by characters from the famous video game Final Fantasy created by Hironobu Sakaguchi. I grow up playing Final Fantasy 7 when I was 15 and I have fallen in love with the sequel since. The characters from the game have some sort of magical and mythological characteristics which I would like to bring out in this portrait. The studio is a place for me to create.
