Katrina
This is another one from my old set. Sorry about the slow update on my blog. I’m kinda caught up with a lot of work lately.
Katrina is one of the more challenging model to shoot. Mainly because she is a tad fleshier than the rest of the girls.
One thing to keep in mind is that every model small to large, or almost everyone has a hot angle. The trick is to identify that and not leaving it to chance. Some people would look good from the front, some left and some right and others as well.
Doing a closeup on the larger model will also reduce the amount of digital modification on the model (liquify on photoshop).
You can also distract the viewer’s attention with motion or accessories.
Other tricks that could be used also include taking photos of emotion instead of a full body shot. Capturing the beauty is the essence, and some instead of outlook, go for the feeling. Black and white, monochrome photos are one of the best option.
I’m not that good in writing, but I hope you guys get what I mean. Just my 2 cent.
Not trying to act like a pro, but share what I’ve learned.
